In 1989 I attended the Lancaster and Morecambe college of Further Education, where I studied General Art and Design for two years and gained my B-Tec National Diploma. This enabled me to go on to study at the Blackpool and Flyde college of Arts in 1992. Where I began a three year HND course in Natural History and Scientific Illustration. It is there that I learnt to use different techniques to capture detail in my work.

After completing my Higher National Diploma at Blackpool in 1995 I was involved with my local AONB Landscape Trust. I designed and illustrated two tourist information boards for two special nature sites, depicting the areas flora and fauna.

Having lived in the Morecambe area since 1980,
I have spent the years since college sympathetically capturing watercolor, displaying my work in local galleries and exhibitions.
